I grabbed all the episodes not too long ago... I must say it's pretty good. I love how the Targaryen girl has gone from broken sister of a mad brother to queen with dreams of conquest.

I knew "Little Finger" would be trouble the moment I saw him. He played a sleazy politician in The Wire and he's playing the same role in Game of Thrones. :roll:

I've never actually watched that shit. I'm a straight adult male, I'm not watching some show with British people in tights dancing and singing about wizards and magic and shit.

Guess you don't want to see all the full frontal female nudity then. As a straight male, that is. Also ,no fairies, dancing or wizzards (there are 3 dragons though in season 2) and there is plenty of gore. Just watch the damn thing, it's not at all what you think it is.

I take it, you are not a fan of Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter either. I cannot say I blame you for that. However, Game of Thrones is nothing like that. Season one was amazing, I loved the twists. The second season, after having such a great start, has been disappointing overall. The last two episodes have been a lot of talking an nothing else. I hope the next two episodes make up for it.

I'm not a fan of that "Ye olde tyme" western mythology myself. I find that it turns pretty generic in most cases. Lord of the Rings, Oblivion...can't stand it. This show however manages more "grit" than the usual run of the mill tales of elves and forrest nymphs by considerably downplaying that and focusing more on depth of the characters. And oh what depth it is... I think of this show as being to western mythological stories as The Dark Knight was to comic book movies.

C'mon, give it a chance Joe.

Don't watch the show, Joe. Don't let them lure you into it, with their promises of amazing dialogue, immersive universe, fantastic characters, awesome acting (even from the child actors) and other great stuff.

Thank you! I especially hate it when actors pretend to be children... like every Adam Sandler movie, for example!

And if they were GREAT actors, they'd all have accents like the people on Jersey Shore. That would be some thespian shit right there.
